Teaching is done with a multilingual approach from kindergarten!
Our establishment, a French international school approved by the French ministry, offers an ambitious linguistic course for your children based on teaching in three languages: French, English and Montenegrin.
The course is progressive, from kindergarten to secondary school: the number of language hours increases as the course progresses, allowing each student to develop their skills in the three languages, while ensuring a solid foundation in French as soon as possible.<\/p>

From kindergarten onwards, language teachers come into classes to conduct activities in English and Montenegrin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

For non-French speaking students who arrive at the school, a \u201cbridging course\u201d is set up with FLSco courses to support them in learning the French language.<\/p>

Certifications are presented during the course of schooling: Delf junior (Dipl\u00f4me d'Etude en Langue Fran\u00e7aise) in French and Cambridge in English. This allows the official recognition of the level of language acquired by the students.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

From CP onwards, students benefit from two hours of English per week and two hours of Montenegrin. For Montenegrin, students are separated by level group.
Native pupils follow the national Montenegrin language programmes from CP onwards.<\/p>

In each class, two hours per week are co-taught.
Two teachers are present in the class at the same time to lead a multilingual session.
These sessions cover different areas during the year: EMC, discovery of the world, mathematics, etc. This allows students to make links between languages and develop a multilingual approach in the different areas of learning.<\/p>

From CM1, an hour of history and local culture is also set up, in Montenegrin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Montenegrin language and history and culture classes continue in 6th and 5th grades.<\/span><\/p>

As defined by the French Ministry of Education programs, the number of hours of English increases and can go up to 4 hours per week in middle school.<\/span><\/p>

Also setting up the teaching of non-linguistic disciplines in a modern language (DNL): teaching of visual arts and sport in English and Montenegrin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
